There are thousands of JetBlue crewmembers without a college degree. With our mission to inspire humanity, we set out to change that.
JetBlue Scholars is a new way for employers to help their people succeed. We partner with online course providers and institutions of higher learning to make earning a degree simpler and more affordable than ever.
From the high cost of college to scheduling challenges, our crewmembers told us about all the barriers they face when it comes to earning a degree. We designed JetBlue Scholars—the very first model of its kind—to clear the way.
Roxanne is one of many crewmembers who are well on their way to earning a college degree.
We helped her get credit for her previous coursework and certifications. Now she’s taking college courses online with JetBlue covering the cost. Soon, we will help her transfer all the credits to Thomas Edison State University, where she will finish her final capstone class and graduate by June 2016 with a bachelor’s liberal studies.
